Last Chance for October Non-Legal Pro Bono Opportunity!

Stetson Law is hosting it’s 28th Annual  National Conference on Special Needs Planning and Special Needs Trusts.This is not only a great opportunity to network with over 450 attorneys from across the country, but you will also receive non-legal pro bono credit.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
– Directing attendees to sessions, restrooms, lunch areas, the registration table, etc.
– Serving as a timekeeper for speakers during sessions.
– Collecting and delivering question cards to speakers in the presentation rooms.

Please note: There will be a mandatory training session via Zoom on Wednesday, October 14 at 12:00 PM.

Stetson has a 10-hour limit for on campus non-legal pro bono. From the policy: “A student may earn community service hours (i.e. nonlegal pro bono hours) for engaging in non-research related volunteer activities on campus that benefit the Stetson Law community specifically… Consequently, the number of hours students can earn for on campus activities is limited to 10 hours.” For more information on this policy click here.
