Last Chance to Apply for the Caribbean Bar Association $3000 Scholarship!

The Caribbean Bar Association (the “CBA”) will award up to three (3) Judicial and Legal Services summer internship placements. Each award recipient will participate in either: (1) an 8-week Judicial Internship with a judge presiding in a South Florida court with a $3,000.00 stipend or (2) an 8-week Legal Services Internship with Legal Services of Greater Miami with a $3,000.00 stipend.

The scholarship is open to 1st and 2nd year law students who have an interest in serving the Caribbean American community.

Application Deadline: March 11, 2022

Please submit (1) this completed application, (2) cover letter, (3) resume, (4) law
school transcript for all law school coursework completed (does not need to be an official
transcript), and (5) essay response, by email to [email protected] on or before FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2022. The CBA Scholarship Committee will select a pool of candidates for a round of brief interviews and will notify the award recipients shortly thereafter. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Each candidate must demonstrate strong academic credentials, legal research and writing skills, and an interest in issues affecting the Caribbean-American or South Florida community.
