Living in the Gray Area: The Intersections of LGBTQ+ Identity and Aging

SpeakOut November 3: Intersections of LGBTQ Identity and Aging

What does it mean to be LGBTQIA+ growing up, compared to being heteronormative and cisgender? How do other identities intersect, being BIPOC and LGBTQ, for example? What role does social media play – for good and ill – in conveying information about being Queer? How does it feel to grow older, “gay and gray,” in a culture that celebrates youth?

These are just some of the questions Dr. Milton Wendland and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Ariana Drew will explore at the November 3 dialogue on Intersections of LGBTQ Identity and Aging. This FREE program will be held on-site at the Gulfport Public Library and on Zoom. Register at: SpeakOut: The Intersection of LGBTQ Identity and Aging LIVE and on ZOOM.
