November Public Interest Newsletter Now Available!

The latest edition of the Public Interest Newsletter is here, packed with valuable information on pro bono, internship, and post-graduate opportunities in the public interest and public service fields.

Highlights in this November issue:

  • Spring Clinics and Externships: The application deadline was extended and will now close on November 11. Consider applying for the Child Advocacy Clinic, Civil Legal Services Clinic, Public Defender Clinic, or Homeless Advocacy Externship. There are also many more opportunities to choose from!  
  • Civil Legal Aid Summer Fellowships: Applications for Funding Florida Legal Aid’s Summer Fellowship Program was extended to November 8. If you’re a 1L or 2L Interested in advancing the public interest, don’t miss out on applying for this paid summer opportunity.  
  • Peggy Browning Fund Summer Fellowships: Interested in advancing workers’ rights? Applications for PBF summer fellowships open November 8. Placement opportunities available at select labor unions, worker centers, and labor-related nonprofits across the country.
  • NACA Consumer Law Fellowships: NACA is offering 2-year consumer law fellowships to upcoming graduates who are expected to sit for the July 2025 Bar exam. There are 5 host organizations to choose from, including an opportunity with Jacksonville Legal Aid where the selected fellow will spend a year split between 2 Florida-based consumer protection law firms. The deadline to apply is January 1.
