NYC Career Trek – Spring Break 2024

NYC Career Trek (March 11 – March 14, 2024)

The Office of Career and Professional Development and Professor Andrew Appleby are teaming up to offer students a unique opportunity to explore the world of work beyond the Tampa Bay Area. Over spring break, students will connect with alumni, visit several employers each day, and experience what work-life is like in this exciting city. Designed for networking and career education, this program gives students the opportunity to make meaningful connections while learning about ways they can secure potential jobs and internships in NYC.  

This program is open to all students interested in exploring a variety of career pathways, including law firms, public interest organizations, and government agencies. The trip would be led by 2 former NYC residents: Professor Appleby and Stephanie Storke, Assistant Director of Public Interest Careers & Pro Bono, to offer you an insider’s perspective on life as a practicing attorney in NYC.
