Open Seat Election for Fall 2023 FT Class
The Elections Committee and SBA will have an open seat election to fill the
currently vacant Fall 2023 1L FT Class Representative seat in the legislative
council on Tuesday, September 26th beginning at 12:00pm in Florin
Roebig Courtroom.
One open seat is available for the Fall 2023 1L FT Class.
The open seat for this class will be filled with corresponding members
first. If the open seat remains at the end of the election, then the open seat will
be available to students of all classes.
To run for this open seat, you must be present on Tuesday, September 26th
at 12:00pm in Florin Roebig Courtroom.
Please notify the Elections Committee beforehand at [email protected]
by Monday, September 25, 12:00pm, if you intend to run.
Students who do not e-mail the Elections Committee in advance and
show up to run, are still eligible, but will jeopardize our ability to plan the
election effectively.
If you would like to run for an open seat but are unable to attend in person,
please email the Elections Committee at [email protected] with
an excuse by 11:59pm on Sunday, September 24th and we will look into
whether accommodations can be made.
SBA representatives are critically important to the success of SBA, campus
organizations, and many on and off-campus events! If you would like to help,
make a difference for the Stetson Law community, please consider attending this
open seat election, and taking on the great responsibility of being an SBA
legislative representative.
