Hayhurst Law Personal Injury Survivor & Friends Scholarship has created a scholarship for a student who has been a victim of a personal injury accident and did not let this stop them from pursuing their academic dreams; or for a friend or family member who stood by an accident victim in their time of need and was inspired to pursue their own academic goals.
Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program. This includes accredited community college students as well as high school seniors and students who possess a GED and who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program.
The scholarship applicant must be able to demonstrate that their surviving a personal injury accident, or standing by the side of someone who did, has inspired and pushed them to make the most out of their life.
All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above.

Who is Eligible for the 2025 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship?
Anyone who is accepted into any law school in the United States for the 2024-2025 academic year, or current law school students attending any law school in the United States during the 2024-2025 academic year and continuing their studies in 2025-2026.
Judging Criteria
A panel of judges, including senior management from Lem Garcia Law, will thoroughly evaluate all submissions and select the winner. The announcement is set for September 25, 2025. The chosen recipient will be required to provide proof of enrollment in law school, solidifying their path to becoming a future legal star.
Award Disbursement
We will evaluate all submissions after the deadline passes and inform the winning contestant. The winner’s award check will be mailed to their law school’s financial aid department directly. The announcement of the winner will be made on 9/25/25.

ABA LGBTQ+ Public Interest Scholarship Program – Deadline April 30, 2025
This scholarship is intended for law students and/or recent law school graduates studying for the Bar who are working or will be working in the LGBTQ+ space doing public interest work.
- The Scholarship will provide financial support to a first, second or third year law student, or recent law graduate to enable the student or recent law graduate to work in the LGBTQ+ public interest arena.
- One or more scholarships of up to $5,000 each are awarded annually, subject to the availability of funds and the recommendation of the Commission’s Scholarship Committee.
Eligibilty Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be either a first or second or third year law student in good standing in an ABA accredited law school, or a recent law graduate from an ABA accredited law school still studying for the Bar Exam.
- Have a secured an internship or job for Summer 2025 (which may extend beyond the Summer) and/or the Fall of 2025 with a public interest organization engaged in legal or policy work with a direct impact on LGBTQ+ individuals.
Applicants will be evaluated on the strength of their complete application and all supporting materials, and demonstrated commitment to improve the legal and social standing of the LGBTQ+ community, including LGBTQ+ individuals. Every effort will be made to award three scholarships and to reflect diversity in the award recipients. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

The Law Place has decided to annually offer a $2,500 scholarship to one student who can demonstrate their dedication and appreciation of what studying law means to them.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. This includes incoming first-year college students who are high school graduates or possess a GED.
- The scholarship candidate must be able to show proof of admission or attendance (e.g., a transcript or acceptance letter) at an accredited educational program, as stated above.

Stetson Law Spring Scholarship Announcement – Deadline: March 14, 2025
Attention J.D. Students: Please take a few minutes to review the following scholarship announcement. If you’re interested in applying for any of the referenced scholarships, please follow the instructions as provided below or on the Scholarships web page.
All of the scholarships will require an essay and a resume. The Need and Public Service Scholarships have separate applications. Please customize your essays to the particular scholarships for which you wish to be considered. You may apply for multiple awards.

Max Madness March Scholarship competition
Stetson Law will earn points for the lessons you complete and the events you attend. And YOU will earn entries into the MAX Grand Prize Scholarship drawing on April 1, when six students will each win a $25,000 scholarship and three students will each win a $40,000 scholarship.
At the end of the MAX Madness competition, the top “Final Four” schools with the most points will receive a $1,000 scholarship to award to one of its students, some nice hardware, and bragging rights to celebrate their victory. Definitely a WIN-WIN!
