STETSON COLLEGE OF LAW ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS – APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Endowed Scholarship Application is Now Open!!

Stetson University College of Law is pleased to announce the Endowed Scholarship Application for 2025-2026 is now open! Thanks to the generous contributions and gifts from donors, alumni and friends of Stetson Law, we are able to offer donor-funded scholarships to students currently enrolled at Stetson Law. Students who are interested in gaining new or additional scholarship funding are strongly encouraged to apply for consideration.

  • The deadline to complete your application, including all supplemental materials, is 5:00 PM October 26th NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Students with a full tuition Merit Scholarship are ineligible for these awards and should not apply.  All other Merit recipients are encouraged to submit their application.

  • Students graduating at the end of the fall term are not eligible to apply.

  • Students with an honor code violation are not eligible to apply.

  • You will be required to attach your resume and an essay at the end of the application. Your essay must include details to answers on the application (when applicable) along with information on your achievements both in and out of the classroom. Your essay should be a minimum of 2 pages double-spaced with no other formatting requirements.  These documents must be submitted in .pdf or MS Word .doc FORMAT. Your application will be incomplete without these attachments.

  • We will notify you if the Honors, Awards and Financial Aid Committee and, where applicable, donor select you as a recipient by late December. We will also send out an email to all students not selected for a scholarship.

  • Any funds received will be applied to your spring 2026 account.
  •  For students who have accepted their full federal loan eligibility and receive an endowed scholarship, the scholarship amount will automatically reduce their highest-interest loan.
  • Failure to meet the deadline, follow instructions, and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Happy Even After wants undergraduate and graduate students from all majors and areas of study to apply for the From Conflict to Growth Scholarship. Students who are accepted at or enrolled at an accredited United States college, university, and/or graduate school may submit their applications for the team’s consideration.

Terms and Conditions

All applicants to this scholarship must meet the eligibility requirements as laid out on the scholarship application page, including:

  • Applicant must be enrolled at a college, university, or graduate school

Safe Drive Guide Scholarship – $2500 – Deadline: August 31, 2025

Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers is excited to expand its community outreach efforts. Starting in 2025, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to apply for the Safe Drive Guide Scholarship. This scholarship promises $2,500 to a student who can create an outstanding video recommending steps drivers can take to improve their roadway safety.

Meyer Wilson Werning opens its The Importance of Personal Finance Education Scholarship to undergraduates and graduates, provided that those students meet the following criteria: 

  • Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Students must be enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
  • Students must agree to the scholarship terms and conditions

The NAPABA Law Foundation carries out its work primarily by awarding scholarships and fellowships that promote the interests of the Asian Pacific American community. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships and over $1 million in fellowships and internships.

The Foundation awards scholarships on a nationwide basis to law students who demonstrate a commitment to serve or contribute to the Asian Pacific American community as future leaders. Martin Wren PC is debuting their “A Second Chance: How My Accident Changed My Goals for the Future” Scholarship in 2025. This scholarship provides students with $2,500 of academic support. The scholarship selection committee invites all students who meet the scholarship’s eligibility criteria to submit video essays on how their accident influenced their lives and changed their goals for the future. 

The winner will be selected from a pool of qualified entries based on the following criteria:

Who is Eligible for the 2025 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship?

Judging Criteria

A panel of judges, including senior management from Lem Garcia Law, will thoroughly evaluate all submissions and select the winner. The announcement is set for September 25, 2025. The chosen recipient will be required to provide proof of enrollment in law school, solidifying their path to becoming a future legal star.

Award Disbursement

We will evaluate all submissions after the deadline passes and inform the winning contestant. The winner’s award check will be mailed to their law school’s financial aid department directly. The announcement of the winner will be made on 9/25/25.

ABA LGBTQ+ Public Interest Scholarship Program – Deadline April 30, 2025

This scholarship is intended for law students and/or recent law school graduates studying for the Bar who are working or will be working in the LGBTQ+ space doing public interest work.

  • The Scholarship will provide financial support to a first, second or third year law student, or recent law graduate to enable the student or recent law graduate to work in the LGBTQ+ public interest arena.
  • One or more scholarships of up to $5,000 each are awarded annually, subject to the availability of funds and the recommendation of the Commission’s Scholarship Committee. 

Eligibilty Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Must be either a first or second or third year law student in good standing in an ABA accredited law school, or a recent law graduate from an ABA accredited law school still studying for the Bar Exam.
  2. Have a secured an internship or job for Summer 2025 (which may extend beyond the Summer) and/or the Fall of 2025 with a public interest organization engaged in legal or policy work with a direct impact on LGBTQ+ individuals.

Applicants will be evaluated on the strength of their complete application and all supporting materials, and demonstrated commitment to improve the legal and social standing of the LGBTQ+ community, including LGBTQ+ individuals.  Every effort will be made to award three scholarships and to reflect diversity in the award recipients. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
