The Office of Development and Alumni Relations looking for 2 Student Assistants (paid positions)

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations was established to foster mutually beneficial relationships between the College of Law and its alumni and friends. As a small private institution, DAR works hard to cultivate relationships with current and potential donors to engage and support our students and the educational programs of the College.

The law school has over 11,000 alumni with records, information, and data that needs to be digitized. In this position, the student will assist with the responsibilities in the Department including, but not limited to:

o   Scanning data for entry into University’s Shared Drive for record retention

o   Retrieving, and delivering DAR mail from/to the mailroom

o   Researching information and other documents of record and providing updates to the alumni database

o   Assisting with the preparation and dissemination of various mass mailings

·        Requirements:

o   Ability to operate department copier including scanning capabilities

o   Be reliable and have time-management skills

o   Have experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

o   Be energetic, organized, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

o   Be a team player

·        Other Information:

o   Reports to Administrative Support Staff

o   Flexible 20-hour work week adjusted to meet student’s schedule
