Trial Team place two teams in Final Four of NTC Regional

The Stetson Trial Team reached the National Trial Competition (NTC) Regional Finals and Semifinals, held on February 17-19, 2023, in Macon, Georgia.  NTC is one of, if not, the oldest continuing trial competition in the nation, beginning in 1976 with Stetson first appearing in 1981 and in every year since.  NTC is a true open national competition, as all ABA-accredited schools can compete, as most competitions are invitationals that limit the size of the field.  In 46 years of NTC, Stetson is tied for #1 with 5 NTC National Championships, as well as 5 National Finals appearances, 19 Regional Championships, and 20 Regional Finals appearances.  The Regional Finalists are Cami DiGiacomo ’23, Ashtyn McDaniel ’24, and Natalie Noa ’24.  The Regional Semifinalists are Kayla Grey ’23, Greg Mueller ’24, and Cameron Sargent ’24.  Cami DiGiacomo was named Best Advocate of the preliminary rounds.  All six team members received votes for Best Advocate during the prelims.  NTC rules require teams to bring four team members as witnesses.  Faith Gosselin, Eric Nelson, Bridget Shuster, and Juliana Tirado each received accolades for their witness roles.  NTC was coached by Kate Donoghue and Alec Waid.  NTC Regionals come to Stetson in February 2024!  Congratulations to the Team and Coaches!
