Tuition and Fees – Fall 2023

Dear Students,

The Business Office has received inquiries about the amount of tuition, when tuition is due for the fall 2023 semester, and when financial aid checks are to be distributed. Please find the relevant information below:

Fall 2023 tuition for the various programs are:

  • Full-time JD and LLM International students who are taking 10 or more credits is $25,606.
  • Full-time JD and LLM International students taking less than 10 hours will be charged $2,561 per hour.
  • Part-time JD tuition is $16,840.
  • MBA tuition is $3,150 per class ($1,050 per credit hour)
  • MJur in Health Care Compliance is $1,063 per credit hour.
  • LLM Elder Law tuition is $1,410 per credit hour.
  • LLM Advocacy is $1,250 per credit hour.
  • JD/LLM is $1,100 per credit hour.

Fall 2023 fees for the various programs are:

  • Full-time JD and LLM International students is $198.
  • Part-time JD is $161.
  • Full-time students and LLM International students are also charged $50 for SBA fees.  
  • LLM Elder Law, LLM Advocacy, JD/LLM, and MJur in Health Care Compliance are charged a $50 technology fee.

Tuition and fees will be posted to your student account based on your current registration status.

Tuition is due by the first day of classes, Monday, August 21, 2023.

Any student who has not paid the balance on their student account or has not made financial arrangements with the Business Office, will be charged a late fee of $200. 

Methods of acceptable payment are cash, check, money order, credit card or E-check.

If method of payment is credit card or E-checks, this must be paid through the student payment portal at  https://www.stetson.edu/forms/law/student-accounts/payment/

As a condition of using your credit card, a non-refundable convenience fee equal to 2.5% of the payment will be charged. E-checks do not incur a convenience fee.

If the amount of your financial aid is more than the amount of your tuition and fees for the fall, you will receive a refund for the difference to cover your living expenses. This refund can be paid to you by check or more expeditiously by direct deposit. If you wish to have your refund paid by direct deposit, and have not already completed the paperwork, please be sure to contact the Business Office at [email protected].  The deadline to apply for Direct Deposit for fall financial aid refunds is August 16, 2023.  If you chose to receive your refund by check, it may be picked up in the Business Office any time on Monday, August 21, 2023.  If your refund is direct deposited, it will be processed late afternoon on Friday, August 18, 2023.
