Workshop Invitation: Managing Our Blind Spots

We invite you to register (see link below) to join Dr. Laura McNeal in a lively discussion about the science of biases and how they influence our decision-making and behavior without us even knowing it. This workshop will occur on Wednesday, April 20th at 5:15 PM in Classroom A and via Zoom. It will help participants understand the origins of biases, how and under what circumstances they are triggered, and effective strategies to minimize their impact. Dr. McNeal is a lecturer at Columbia University and recently received the Distinguished Faculty Research Award from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. Dr. McNeal is a national expert on the intersection of law and bias who has been featured on numerous national media outlets such as CBS, CNN, News Nation and the Dr. Phil Show.

This presentation will be geared primarily toward students. However, the entire Stetson Community is welcome to attend.
