HAWL Scholarship Opportunity – Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers

The mission of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers (HAWL) is to promote gender equality in the legal profession and under the law. HAWL will be awarding four $500.00 scholarships. The following are the eligibility requirements for the HAWL Scholarship:

Applicant must be female.
Applicant must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Applicant must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a 2 or 4 year college of university or an accredited law school for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in Law or Criminal Justice.
Applicant must be a resident of or attend school in the Tampa Bay area.
Personal statement must indicate a commitment to equality under the law and the promotion of women’s issues in the law.
Applicant must complete application in its entirety, inclusive of requested documents.
