Circuit Training: An Exercise in Practical Lawyering
Thursday, February 29th 8:30am – 4:00pm Judicial Conference Room, Edgecomb Courthouse, 800 E. Twiggs Street, Tampa This one-day training, created by Judge Wendy DePaul, offers students practical instruction using a common-sense approach in what to expect when working at the 13th Circuit as attorneys. Students will get an opportunity to see how the court operates on a daily basis, learn about available resources and practical tips for practice and professionalism. Available sessions will include a panel discussion with judges, Problem Solving Courts overview, mediation, a demonstration of the Clerk of the Court’s e-filing system and court observation and discussion.
