NYC Spring Break 2024 Info Session (Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Noon)

Join Professor Andrew Appleby and the Office of Career Development for an information session on Tuesday, October 31 at noon in the Florin-Roebig Courtroom to learn more about the New York City Spring Break Career Trek.

The NYC Career Trek Program offers a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of work beyond the Tampa Bay Area. Over spring break, students will connect with alumni, visit several employers each day, and experience what work-life is like in this exciting city. Designed for networking and career education, this program gives students the opportunity to make meaningful connections while learning about ways they can secure potential jobs and internships in NYC.

This program is open to all students interested in exploring a variety of career pathways, including law firms, nonprofits, and public sector agencies. The trip would be led by 2 former NYC residents: Professor Andrew Appleby and Stephanie Storke, Assistant Director of Public Interest Careers & Pro Bono, to offer you an insider’s perspective on life as a practicing attorney in NYC.

Anticipated travel dates: Monday, March 11 – Thursday, March 14

Don’t miss the chance to learn more about this exciting opportunity by attending Tuesday’s info session. We hope to see you there!
