NYC Spring Break Career Trek Info Session – Tuesday 10/31

Join Professor Andrew Appleby and the Office of Career Development for an info session on Tuesday, October 31 at noon in the Florin-Roebig Courtroom to learn more about the NYC Spring Break Career Trek.

NYC is one of the largest, most diverse, and exciting cities in the world. The city is an attractive destination to develop a legal career for lawyers around the world, not only due to the size and reputation of its law firms and public interest organizations, but also because it provides the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s leading lawyers.

The Trek is open to all Stetson law students interested in exploring a variety of career pathways, such as big law or public interest law.  Designed for networking and career education, this Trek would offer you the opportunity to expand your professional network, connect with alumni, learn about potential jobs/internships, and explore NYC. The trip would be led by 2 former NYC residents: Professor Andrew Appleby and Stephanie Storke, Assistant Director of Public Interest Careers & Pro Bono, to offer you an Insider’s perspective on life as a practicing attorney in NYC.

Anticipated Travel Dates (depending on sufficient interest): Monday, March 11 – Thursday, March 14

Learn more by attending the info session on Tuesday, October 31 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Florin Roebig Courtroom.
