Pro Bono Opportunity: Necessities Drive with AALSA

From November 6th-November 13th, AALSA is hosting a necessities drive to support the Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center (LANFC). LANFC is a local non-profit in St. Petersburg, that provides services and supports for the Asian community in Pinellas County. As part of their family support services, they run a food pantry to help families with immediate hunger and are running low on supplies. 

Please bring in items in exchange for pro bono hours (Students cannot exceed 3 hours total)3 items = 1 hour of pro bono
6 items = 2 hours of pro bono
9 items = 3 hours of pro bono

LANFC is looking for shelf-stable pantry items:
– Canned meats with pop-up lids (chicken, tuna, spam)
– Canned soups with pop-up lids (noodles, vegetables, chili)
– Dry goods (crackers, Mac & Cheese, PB&Jelly, cereals, pasta, oatmeal, mashed potatoes)
– Other (spaghetti sauces, fruit cups, granola bars, H20 bottles, Juice boxes, Cheese-It snacks).
– Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, pinto beans, etc.)

Please drop your items off in the Student Affairs office and take a picture to show how many items you are donating. Send the picture to [email protected].
