NOTE TAKERS MUST BE ABLE TO COME TO GULFPORT CAMPUS TO SIGN HIRING PAPERWORK PRIOR TO STARTING.

Note takers will receive hourly wage hours. Hourly wage will be paid at a rate of $10.00 per hour for regular courses, and $13.00 per hour for short or weekend courses.

This list is regularly evolving, check back frequently for new classes as they are added.

If you are interested in being a note taker for any of these classes: please submit your resume, and sample notes (maximum 5 pages), and indicate the class(es) you are interested in being hired to [email protected]. If you have previously served as a notetaker, please email with this information and classes you are interested in serving for to [email protected].

The provision of ADA accommodations is an anonymous process.  The expectation is to provide notes that would be typical for a student to take for the course, with care taken to be sure the notes are complete and comprehensive. If notes are not already typed, we ask that notes be typed, password protected and uploaded to our Accommodate portal as a Word document (with the author’s name removed from properties).   Note takers are expected to submit notes daily.

*Image Description* A note pinned to a board, the note reads “Now Hiring Note Takers – Accessibility Resources”. There is a large dollar sign next to the note.
