This will be the keystone major event for Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month this year. We will be partnering up with HBA to put together this Hispanic/Latinx cultural celebration. This event is also anticipated to partner with Tampa Hispanic Bar Association (THBA) to provide additional professional networking opportunities to our members. We will be hosting this event as a social and professional networking opportunity on campus, especially aimed for expanding the networks of HBA and ILSA members. We are also planning to partner with the Office of Diversity, Collaboration, and Inclusion on this to provide speakers from HBA/ILSA, THBA, and Stetson Law recent alum who just started practicing to speak on their journey from law school to their current careers as a Latinx Lawyer.

We will be providing a buffet style catered event with appetizers at the beginning during the opening “networking” portion. Also, at each table we plan to pair at least 1-2 THBA members and 1-2 Stetson Law alumni amongst the current HBA/ILSA students attending.
