This summer, I am excited to begin my internship at Exiger in McLean, Virginia, as a Digital Automation Intern.

I wanted to use this reflection as an opportunity to revisit my goals for this internship and share what I am both excited and nervous about. Some of my goals include gaining hands on experience in the risk and compliance industry, strengthening my skills while learning from experienced professionals, and developing a better understanding of potential career paths I can pursue.

I am excited to work on projects that may have a real world impact, as well as meeting new people/interns. That said, I am nervous about stepping into a completely unfamiliar environment and having to adapt quickly. I am also nervous that the work computer they sent me will not arrive on time.

Overall, I am looking forward to this opportunity, though I know there will be many challenges along the way. I wrote these out to help guide my future posts and see how my fears, excitement, and goals change.
