Quiet Study Areas – Not for Conversation or Group Work

Quiet Study Area – Basement
The downstairs is reserved for quiet study. When you’re down here, please keep it to a whisper, if you talk at all.

Study Carrels – 2nd Floor
Individual study carrels are located along the windows on the north side of the building. This is a designated Quiet Area.

Group and Individual Study Areas – Talking Permitted

Group Study Areas – Main Floor
Clusters of chairs and tables on the main floor can be used for solo or group study. Chatting and collaboration are welcome. The tables with blue chairs form the liveliest area of the library main floor. Groups are free to move furniture around to create their ideal collaboration setup.

Group Study Rooms – Main Floor
The Alpha, Beta, and Gamma rooms seat 4 people and can be booked online for your small study group. Whiteboards and markers are provided. The Taylor Room (pictured above) seats 6 and has a large monitor to connect to your laptop. Reserve rooms at stetson.libcal.com/reserve/StudyRooms

East Room – Main Floor
Work individually or with a group in the East Room. You’ll find 16 computers in this space. When this space isn’t being used for library workshops, it is available for anyone to use.

Innovation Lab – Main Floor
The Innovation Lab is bursting with exciting technology — including 3D printers — to help you achieve all sorts of projects. But it also can accommodate individual or small group study for projects that require high technology. The VR Room has 3 iMacs equipped with specialized software.

Student Success Center – 2nd Floor
The Hollis Family Student Success Center, located on the second floor and run by Academic Success, is the central hub for tutoring on campus. Work in a group or individually in this high energy space.

Patios – 2nd Floor
The library has two outdoor patio balconies so you can study while getting some fresh air. They close at 5 pm.

Room 8L – Basement 24/7 Area
A study room that seats 8. This space is equipped with a dry erase board. It is located in the 24/7 area of the basement, on your left as you enter from Nemec Courtyard.

15L Computer Lab – Basement 24/7 Area
This computer lab is open at all times, but may be reserved for a class meeting.

Nemec Courtyard and Sensory Garden
Study outside in our sensory garden.

Room 25L
Classes, meetings, and special events happen in this room. Located in the 24/7 area of the building.
