The duPont-Ball Library houses more than 200,000 books, 25,000 bound periodicals, and 220,000 federal documents, as well as microforms, videos, and other formats. Through the library’s catalog, more than 150,000 e-books, websites, streaming videos, and databases are accessible.
The library uses the Library of Congress classification system and Library of Congress subject headings for the main collection.
Federal government documents are classified by Superintendent of Documents classification and for the last ten years have been fully cataloged.
