The duPont-Ball Library houses more than 205,000 books, 24,500 bound periodicals, and 200,000 federal documents, as well as microforms, videos, and other formats. Through the library’s catalog, more than 150,000 print and electronic books, websites, and streaming videos are accessible.
The library uses the Library of Congress classification system and Library of Congress subject headings for the main collection.
Federal government documents are classified by Superintendent of Documents classification and for the last ten years have been fully cataloged.
