HOMECOMING: WELCOME ALUMNI
Enjoy the Stetson hats, alumni memorabilia, and Stetson jewelry on display in the library. Be sure to check out our new Digital Archives - you may find a photo of yourself or your friends! Consider donating your Stetson memorabilia to the library archives for future generations of Hatters to enjoy. ALUMNI / FACULTY BOOK SIGNING EVENT AT HOMECOMING Please take the opportunity to come by the library on Friday, March 19, 3:30-4:30 to meet nine alumni and faculty authors/performers who will have their books or music CDs available for sale and signing. LIBRARY RESEARCH PRIZES COMPETITION NOW OPEN The library announces the opening of competition for the duPont-Ball Library annual Evans C. Johnson Research Prize and the R. Neil Scott Research Prize. Both prizes may be awarded to students whose documented research paper in EH 121, ENGL 101, or a First-Year Seminar (FSEM) from the previous calendar year (2009) shows thorough, effective, creative, and ethical uses of the library and research resources. The R. Neil Scott Prize will give preference to papers dealing with the general themes of business or economics. See our Research Prizes page for more information and an application. NEW NETWORK PRINTERS The library has replaced all stand-alone printers with three network printers. Workstations will default print to one of those network printers depending on the location. To direct your print job to a specific printer, choose one of the following from the drop-down printer menu: Small Network Printer (closest to the Reference Desk) Large Network Printer (closest to the Library Office) East Room Printer (southeast corner East Room) As part of our effort to support student research needs, we offer free unlimited printing. We do ask, however, that if you print for non-academic or commercial purposes, you pay 10 cents per page at the front desk. And... please think green!
