Innovation Lab Workshops

This Spring, the Innovation Lab wants to make sure you have the confidence to use our technology. Our lab is equipped with 3D printers, a 3D scanner, Cricut cutter, digital sewing machine, soldering station, woodworking station and a vacuum former. If you already know how to operate these machines then all you need to do is sign a waiver to acknowledge that you know our safety guidelines. But if you want to know more about these machines and their potential to benefit your education then sign up for one of the classes and keep in mind seats are limited.

Changes to Library Database List

The duPont-Ball Library maintains a list of subscription and open access databases to support student and faculty research. Between semesters, library personnel made some changes to the database list, resulting in additional features. The database list is still available in an alphabetical list and a subject list. The new list has a different look and feel. (Click the image to see details.)

New features include:

Limit by subject from the alphabetical list
Limit to a specific letter of the alphabet
Search the database list
Get a link to a database

The subject database pages also have some new features. (Click the image to see details.)

New features include:

Best bet database(s) in a subject area
Link to full A-Z database list from the subject database page

You will need to update your links if your syllabus or website links to one of the library’s databases page, or to subject list of databases, a link that starts with https://www2.stetson.edu/library/database_subjects/.
