Library Building Reopening on Monday, August 10, 2020 – Read for More Details

Stetson students, faculty, and staff,

The duPont-Ball Library faculty and staff are pleased to welcome you to the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.  Access to library collections and services is available to the Stetson community whether you are on- or off-campus this semester.

The library building will open to the Stetson community on Monday, August 10th, 8:00 am, with a limited 25 person occupancy. The occupancy limit will increase to 50 people on Thursday, August 13th

Access will be by Stetson ID card-swipe, and all library users will check in with a library greeter who will track occupancy.  Additional library users will be admitted for short-term tasks such as an appointment with a librarian or staff member; to pick up material or equipment; or to checkout and read a course reserve. Student assistant greeters will provide students with suggestions for alternative study spaces should occupancy limits be reached.

Library Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8 am – 10 pm
Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
Saturday: 11 am – 6 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 10 pm

Appropriate face coverings must be worn inside the library building, and furniture, which has been placed to ensure safe physical distancing, should not be moved.

Library collections are available 24/7 online (https://stetson.edu/library).  Physical collections will be available via pick-up or mail delivery for those students who are attending Stetson online only, and to faculty who are teaching online only.

The library will offer services seven days/84 hours per week; students may make appointments for personal face-to-face services (such as assistance on a research or Innovation Lab project). Virtual services will be available to those students who are attending Stetson online only, and to faculty who are teaching online only.  Find out more at https://stetson.edu/library

The 24/7 Lab on the library’s ground floor is open with printing and copying available.  Access to the Lab and the ground floor north restrooms will be card-swipe only.
